Periwinkles Photography was inspired by our beautiful nephew Lucha, who is a little swimming superstar. We followed him along to his very first lesson and we immediately saw the potential for capturing beautiful underwater baby photographs as they learn to swim.

Underwater Photography has always been a passion for each of us. Jane first started taking underwater portraits while studying Photography at Auckland University. Nick has had a camera in hand for his entire diving career- taking photographs of every marine creature he can find.

With the experience we have gained over the past ten years, and using some very cool specialised photographic equipment, we are able to bring parents spectacular images of their child from below the surface. We always strive to capture a glimpse of your childs experience that will be cherished forever.

As well as running Periwinkles we both work as commercial divers at Sea World on the Gold Coast, looking after the Sharks!
