Pre-shoot infomolly

For your child to have a fun time and for us to get the best pictures during you photo shoot, here are
a few things you can do to get prepared.

Your child should have had some form of swimming lessons and be comfortable doing a shallow submersion preferably between six and ten times, ideally letting go of their parent or swim teacher.

Ideally your child should be happy opening eyes underwater but it is possible to wear goggles. They
can bring their own or we have a selection to choose from.

Kids-wear your very best swimmers! Alternatively your child is welcome to wear their favorite costume
or pose with their favorite toy for the photograph. Please note costumes will be in chlorinated water
which can be damaging and any costumes must be comfortable for your child to maneuver in the
water.

Parents- It is often helpful to have you in the water so remember your swimmers.
If you wish to be photographed with your child, here are a few tips to help us capture the best possible image;
It is worth considering how your chosen swimsuit or outfit coordinates with your child’s.
For parents it is best not to blow bubbles and to look at your child, rather than looking at the camera.
Waterproof mascara is also a must!

We recommend arriving 15mins prior to your shoot time, so that you have plenty of time to change
into swimwear. We also recommend not getting into the water prior to the shoot- just in case the best submersions of the day are used up before the camera is there!

While a fantastic image is always our aim, the safety of your child and their enjoyment during the
session will always be our priority. We reserve the right to end the shoot at any time if we are
concerned about your child’s enjoyment or safety.
